About

My work focuses on lifting the quality of mesoeconomic thought and inflecting this with practices of solidarity and land connection.

My economics work has contributed to the development of policy transition practices in a range of organisations around New Zealand, including for the Auckland Council, Toi Mai Ohu Ahumahi, New Zealand Māori Council, MBIE, MoT, and Simplicity New Zealand. I currently lead work on social cohesion in New Zealand for the Helen Clark Foundation.

My writing and research focus on the psychology of bearing costs in late liberal societies, with particular attention to how relational ethics and experiences of non-linear time shape the wearability and legitimacy of long-term costs.
